Cross Pendants

Newbies:

Cross necklaces are unique works of art....wearable art!

Each cross takes about a month to create for the entire process, so I plan to make the crosses once a year....unless the Lord directs me otherwise.  As of right now, this is my last batch for 2018.

**** It is recommended that the cross pendants are kept in cool environments, so please don't leave them in your car or any other place that could get extremely hot.

Update 1/02/19 - cross pendants are no longer available.  Planning to do another large batch of them sometime in the summer of 2019.

Paperclay Crosses

Three months ago I decided to get out of my creative box a little and start some wearable art.  I have some polymer clay and paperclay, so I experimented with both and found that I liked the air dry paperclay more as it was non-toxic and my acrylic paints didn't scratch off.  Before I knew it, I had a gazillion small paperclay cross pendants all painted up and nowhere to go, so I made bag charms:

I have sold several of the charms and will probably give the rest away as gifts in the upcoming year.

As far as regular painting goes, I do have some studies that I'm working on, but not sure how I want to post them online just yet.  A little video?   Pictures?   Both?   Stay tuned.

I'm working....slowly

HAPPY Spring to us!! Today is a beautiful windy day in north Texas.  Such a wonderful time of the year when all the plants and trees are bud...
